Northern Illinois University Hockey is excited to announce the addition of Mason Ihrke to our 2019-2020 recruiting class. Ihrke, a 5’11’’ 160 lbs. forward from Waunakee, WI was a member of Waunakee High School this past season.

“Mason is a dynamic player that really understands the game,” said NIU D1 Head Coach Mike Rucinski. “He is fast and will bring that key element for us.”

“I really like the atmosphere of the college on campus and at the rink” said Ihrke. “I also think this is a great group of guys and I can’t wait to get to know them.”
