Huskies Hire New Coach

Dekalb, IL – The Huskies are pleased to announce the hiring of Greg Chromy as the new head coach. Greg is a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a Bachelors Degree in Business. He is a level 4 certified coach through USA hockey and has coached all levels of hockey ranging from Squirts through High School. This past season he coached the Northwest Chargers Bantam Major team. The team enjoyed great success finishing 3rd in the regular season, winning their league tournament, and finishing 3rd in state. In addition they won the annual Paul Coffey Tournament in Toronto, Canada. Through these accomplishments he led the team to an end of the year ranking of 14th in the nation. Greg is highly regarded in the Illinois hockey community and the Huskies are pleased to have him aboard as the new head coach.
